Emma and Steve
Beth was extremely friendly and easy to deal with and we immediately felt that we were in safe hands. We also loved that all of the flowers in our arrangements were going to be British grown.
WHY CHOOSE US?
LOCALLY GROWN BLOOMS
zero air miles
"Honeymoon Fern was born from a natural love for flowers and plants, as well as a desire to protect our precious planet.
That's why we only sell blooms from local Cotswold or British growers and only use 100% biodegradable materials in their presentation.
You can rest assured that no imported flowers (that have a hefty carbon footprint), make it into your arrangement. And that every stem in your Honeymoon Fern bouquet has been grown without the use of pesticides, helping to protect bees and other pollinators."

HOW WE STARTED
A LOVE STORY
that still blooms today
In September 1920 my grandparents married and went on honeymoon to Dartmoor. They brought back a small fern as a memento and planted it in their garden.
They cared for it and it flourished, moving with them whenever they moved house. Since then it has lived in gardens in Surrey, Hampshire, Cheshire and as far north as Aberdeenshire, a long way from its Devon roots.
In the 1980s, my Mother took over the care of the very special fern, and now it’s my turn as custodian - and I’m happy to say that it is thriving in my Gloucestershire garden. I’m sure that my lovely grandparents would be very happy to know that it’s still doing well almost a century later and now has a business - Honeymoon Fern - named in its honour.

Frequently asked questions about
our eco-friendly flowers
We grow some of our flowers here in Fairford using sustainable methods and practices. From April to October, we source from local Cotswolds growers. For flowers out of season, we
source them from British growers in Cornwall who enjoy a longer growing season. Occasionally we use Fairtrade Flowers when British flowers are scarce.
TBS
